Bonn is a quaint little town in Germany that has the proverbial old world charm about it. The cobblestone pathways, streets shaded with pink cherry blossoms, old houses and a characteristic old world feel make this place a warm destination.

#3. The Wisteria Tunnel at Kawachi Fuji Gardens, in Kitakyushu, Japan

Located in the city of Kitakyushu, Japan, Kawachi Fuji Garden is home to an incredible 150 Wisteria flowering plants spanning 20 different species. The garden’s main attraction is the Wisteria tunnel that allows visitors to walk down an enchanting tunnel exploding with colour.

#4. Giants Causeway In Northern Ireland

The Giant’s Causeway, renowned for its polygonal columns of layered basalt, is the only UNESCO World Heritage Site in Northern Ireland. Resulting from a volcanic eruption 60 million years ago, this is the focal point of a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has attracted visitors for centuries.

There are few places left on earth where aeons past feel so alive. One such spot is the island of Socotra, part of the Republic of Yemen—though 250 miles away in the Arabian Sea. Herodotus wrote of it, as did Marco Polo, and the frankincense that burned in the temples of ancient Greece and Egypt was harvested here.

Lake Natron in Tanzania is one of the most serene lakes in Africa, but it’s also the source of some of the most phantasmagorical photographs ever captured.

Sand is probably the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about beach. However, this is not the case with the Panjin Red Beach in China, which is, actually, red, and not covered in sand at all. Such phenomena is caused by a type of seaweed Sueda.

#11. Tunnel Of Love, Klevan, Ukraine

Tunnel of Love is a beautiful spot in Klevan, Ukraine. A three kilometer railway section leads to the fiberboard factory. The train goes three times a day and delivers wood to the factory. However, the trees make a green corridor, which attracts many couples, as well as photographers for its eye catching avenue. It is said that if you and your beloved come to the Tunnel of Love and sincerely make a wish, it will come true. This might be a new romantic place to discover.
